For anyone curious, how I draw characters is I draw the body shape first and then after I add the clothes and hair and details. I find it works better for me when I feel like the body shape and proportions are right first.

Good study sesh, I think proportions are alright for the most part except for the bottom half of the ribs. The 10th rib could've been constructed better but overall I can see an improvement with my gesture doing the bridgman studies

Idk if you guys noticed, but I draw Sonic with separated eyes. I used to draw it the normal way, but I just learned that I didn't like it overtime. Even though I love to be expressive and crazy with my drawings, I like things to be proportional and a bit realistic.
