The level of creativity in Famicom bootlegs is astounding. There are several titles which are converted to run on Famiclones that supports 16 or 32 colors,and then HUGELY remastered to look nothing like the originals. Here's a look at Spiderman 2 and F1 for NES, in full 16 color!

oo... very curious about the kid klown dev timeline!! that page looks to be from early '93, and the "videokid" char design was used in the reskinned mickey game released as "kid klown in night mayor world" for the NES... and then japan got a proper kid klown game a year later

The 1st game I ever played as a kid was Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt on my dad's NES.

In 1st Grade, making paper cutouts of Wing Cap Mario for Mario 64.

Finding the Mario 64 suit in Odyssey and being nostalgia-fied.

The oldest game on my list, but I still adore it so much. It's difficult, but very rewarding once you start to pick up on the patterns it drops. The music and visual style is also classic. It's worth going back to if you never have before!
