Day 1361: Refined Values! I worked on this one a bit, and I'm kinda liking where it's going. I am feeling like I'm hitting a bit of a wall but I'll approach it tomorrow to see if I'm able to figure out whats wrong with it and how to make it better. Gotta keep trying to get it!

this was my first attempt at making a twitch emote, based on a drawing. A good friend did a quick sketch of my foxbat squating, so I used that as a base for an early 56x56 version, downsized it and redrew a new 28x28 version over the downsized version, then refined it more.

Not really. At her absolute best, she barely uses contractions and has a fairly refined speech pattern without going full-on archaic.

The most important part of her dialogue to me should be how matter-of-fact she is about everything. Check out how O'Neil writes her in Question.

In the ‘60s and early ‘70s, were the heroes’ civilian identities more mature, sophisticated, and refined? Times and styles change for sure but were the heroes more “adult” then? Were they less so as the Bronze Age evolved? How about now? Is it a reflection of how we see heroes?
