Fabled Four was a challenge. Small characters everything outlined and zero light and shadow. It sounds easy, but it made posing them HARD. The art is super easy on the eye. The dark humour and dungeon crawling adventure brings it to life.

It's been a while since I shared any art, but I've been busy wrapping up Shadows Over Kaighal and starting to write book 4, Demon Siege.
Since it's already December, here's a frozen dragonfly which I had done recently, playing around with an old outline and digital watercolors.

anyways. talking about Dune with someone. and came up with a gripe that the designs on the foot soldiers are...not the best

came to conclusion that they lack distinct outlines or motif other than color. especially in motion, it all becomes a blur of just single color

Old art (2015!) but this character was fun I should revamp them. Their name is Ek, a forest spirit who takes tokens from their bonded creatures that they outlive. The idea was that I was their third bonded creature and they took the bandana from me.
