Na segunda edição, barry volta pra central city, e o Batman não aparece, até por que como eles disseram, o flash é um herói solo. Ele salva as pessoas, enfrenta um meta humano e por si só, arruma um jeito de dete-lo e treina seus poderes de vibrar e tem sua própria base em casa.
O batman reconhece que o traje não faz do barry um herói e sim quem ele é, sua coragem, sua força. Ele não precisa do batman pra ser um herói. O flash faz justiça do seu jeito, não o do batman. Perceberam a diferença?
Barry coloca o traje e eles vão atrás do meta humano. O Flash não é um pau mandado ou um simplesmente um assistente do batman, eles são parceiros, se ajudam, trabalham juntos e não um pro outro. O barry tem personalidade, ele não faz só o que o batman manda.
O batman leva o barry pra batcaverna e promete ajudar ele, e para se tornar um herói, ele precisa começar com o basico. Antes de tudo, bruce treina ele, e fala dos princípios de um herói. Barry realmente quer ajudar os outros, salvar vidas. E é por isso que ele tem personalidade.
Diferente disso na hq prequel de the flash, quando o traje do barry é danificado e ele apanha, o batman aparece pra ajudar na luta, o que é explicável, ja que eles estão na mesma cidade (e ele não saiu do Havaí ou sla pra dar bronca nele) e é comum em um universo compartilhado.
