Brushes used, nothing fancy or texture heavy, colors + shapes + smudge to blend edges do most of the work. For smaller shapes I sometimes let the shapes randomize and scatter a bit, which you can see in the final image in the less polished darker areas.

Another update on the Earth Monster sculpt. Combined some of the stone together and sharpened some edges, to make it look less muddy and round. Going to spend most of today on the bakes and textures. #Zbrush #EarthMonster #sculpt

The height-lines allow height estimation by counting, since they are evenly spaced vertically. They are wonky on super steep edges for a number of reasons but I think for the purposes of a game map it's OK since its still a clear demarcation between sections of the map.

Updated it slightly. Cleaned up alot of the rough edges and added more details.

whats more of a summer staple than wedges?

4 requests from today's stream that i used to experiment with concepts. One character is made of all sharp edges, another is just made of curves, a third has a single flat color to render and the fourth is a 3 color palette challenge.

A practice painting I did a few months ago. I should have taped it off around the edges 😑
