I mean, can you imagine if Shaun Tan submitted a portfolio like this and they rejected him because it was 'too inconsistent'?! (Shaun Tan is the most creative person I can think of, the example all illustrators aspire to and an international living treasure)

I'm digging the hashtag. I had an agency turn me down as a featured illustrator, they said my portfolio was 'too inconsistent'. I wanted to write back and say 'why would I show you multiple identical drawings when I can do so much and want to show off my versatility?'

I don't really know how to approach styles or style consistency.And at this point I don't think I'm that bothered about it anymore. I just draw what the situation calls for I guess hahaha
