@JesnCin @boogeymadam One of the pieces' compositions is directly taken from a page of the manga Shimanami Tasogare.
It's a very distinctive and lovely composition, and totally works for your characters, but I feel like that's the kind of thing you should credit if you're going to allude to it.
@aniahsmelody @IshaiAth @ghostly_gummies @ACanzek @Melkpakkie most people with autism, its an overwhelming majority and it pisses me off that you even bothered to make the distinction
This is a reference-based study I did in #Procreate a while ago. Since the source had a distinct #vintage vibe I decided to go a bit further and not only study the pose but also to style and shade it as if it was a 60’s illustration. Not sure if I succeeded... 😕
@Sikantoo Regardless, I think your characters are distinct. You don't need to have these wild, crazy designs to have a distinct character. Some of the coolest characters are very very basic. I mean, look at Melty Blood. Plain white t, and jeans. That's it, it works
@YungGrotke style has this classic but fresh feel capturing the true essence of her subject and captivating her audience with her distinct color palette. Almost royal in its appeal Grotke style... https://t.co/WMwAgHGCmD

Instead of the crayon graphics of Yoshi's Island, Kirby 3 is aiming for a more colored-pencil look.
It achieves this using SA1, the same chip that helped make Super Mario RPG possible.
It's a distinctive look for sure. It didn't work at all for Star Stacker. Here? Oh, it works.
in these images ive circled what is most important or stands out the most in miles' style. sharp lines, very distinct noses, angular eyes with little points underneath. something important to remember is that it doesnt have to be exact, if you get the key points down it will stil
If you haven't looked at them before, Australian Christmas cards are a very distinct genre of art and worth a look if you like that sort of thing. (I love them)
John Romita Sr, the dude who Spider-Man's house look is based on, removed Spider-Man's cake, but Spider-Man creator Steve Ditko? He gave Peter Parker cake, undeniably so. Compare Romita and Ditko here, clear distinction.
I ended up creating two versions because this year I tried out two very distinct styles! 🎨

Terribly sad to hear the news about Richard Corben - one of the absolute greats, an artist that always delivered the goods in his distinctive style #RIP
- Emphasize noses with either a distinct nostril line beside the bridge/connecting the nostril to the bridge of the nose. One of my drawing books was talking about the differences between how western comics & manga render noses and many years later I settled on this compromise https://t.co/yXjd4UANng
