Dar valores es un poco complicado pero creo que una vez que se aprende bien es lo mejor y es entretenido ajustar los colores, a veces das con paletas bastante curiosas. A ver qué tal el resultado final.

Regigigas appears to be obtained the same way as final. Needs 3 Regis in party, talk to the status (which presumably OW sprite wasn't done yet, so placeholder is Pikachu NPC lol)
Interestingly, the dex entry is different (I compared the entry to JPN Pearl).

I also work with shapes! I usually keep it grayscale too just so I can focus on the design elements + concept as I find introducing colours comes instinctively for the final. I've tried using just lines for roughs but I'm never satisfied with the output 😅

Current Rouge idea. I think I like it. The long arms with membranes connecting back to the body. I’m picturing a sort of visual cheat where, when she needs to fly, he wings extend out. Might change the hair before the final. Maybe the outfit too. Might give her multiple.

So basically, the overworld visuals are final other than some Gym Leaders, the whole Elite 4 & Cynthia, and Legendaries sprites.
As far as battles go however, they are not quite final. While some Gym Leaders have unique sprites, most do not, and this extends to the Elite 4.
