I think it's difficult for me to see major improvements in my drawing skills since 2018 or so 😅 but one thing I definitely improved recently is my technique to emulate the look of watercolor in digital! 🎨✨ Unfortunately the only old digital watercolor art I have is from 2016..

Spent a week working on this and I think I made some good improvements thanks to Ina-sensei's drawing streams.
I still don't know how to color well so I went for an experimental look using skies as the theme.
I wanted to emphasize Kiara's brightness and warmth.

Improving Shinies:

Quite a few Pokemon had their Shiny colors changed in Gen 3. Many were definite improvements over their Gen 2 Shinies, which were too similar to their non-Shiny colors. Which begs the question -- should Game Freak improve some Shinies in Gen 9?
