In Crystal, all 50 of those are still included, but the 10 named characters are replaced by unnamed girls of the same monster type, while Crystal’s named story characters are entirely new.

Finished my “Kyosogiga” rewatch. There should be more climatic battle scenes on the moon. They hardly disappoint. “Kyosogiga” was revolutionary in the way that it replaced the damsel in distress with an awful tsundere father who looks like a kid, if that is worth something.
