Extremely minor irk but Saphron alludes to Sappho, whose name literally derives from "Sappheiros" meaning "Sapphire"

So like, they could've literally named their Sappho character Sapphire and made her blue, and it would've worked better than a misspelling of Saffron hehe

Blue Lock anime back with another banger episode. We get to see why Itoshi Rinvis number 1 as he makes all Isagi’s growth meaningless shutting him down at every turn and questioning their motivation. He’s definitely built different.

Philosophy of psychology

Philosophy is the mother of all sciences, psychology being part of it until its independence around 1879 with the birth of psychophysics. Its literal meaning is psyché-logos ("study of the mind"). A branch of philosophy...

What started as the task of cleaning up the old, messy word bubbles in early chapters has blossomed into full on redraws because our artist just can't help himself.
Gonna be going through a lot of the old chapters with these!

"Erect in his armor, a tall man carved from stone
Was standing at the helm and cutting the black flood;
But the hero unmoved, leaning on his rapier,
Kept gazing at the wake and deigned not look aside"

(Baudelaire "Don Juan in Hades")

I'm leaning towards these flowers being purple lilies a bit because devsis is inconsistent with their flowers and not always accurate and hibiscus (in game) looks like lilies too
but for now I'm keeping my decision that the flowers ARE hibiscus but may or may not be lilies
