Downscale test with colour reduction to 16. Unsure about having this amount of painterly shading. Could probably aim for 128 wide, <160 tall... that's 10KB per image uncompressed. I think the other aliens (5) have the ambassador & the player has 3 or 4 role dependent portraits.
