also just wanted to make an excuse to show appreciation for "old" or "outdated" paleoart. sure our information on these animals has expanded over the years but you cant deny how great this shit is. it has a distinct primordial feel i cant rly describe in words.
My entire adult life, people would think I was way younger than I really was. I have a distinct memory when I was late into college years and an off campus pedestrian thought I was 15. And a cop thought I was 13 somehow. But I guess it's generally better to look young than old.
@STAYTISTSCREATE Hello!! I’m shiya! 🤠 I’ve been a stay since get cool era but only started drawing and posting skz fanart in Sept/Oct this year. I really like doing colour palette challenges and still struggling to find a distinct style 😳😳 excited to continue seeing nice art from everyone!!
And I wanna make it clear I’m not just referring to the freaky, 20 foot tall characters either. Even when you look at the more naturally proportioned/human looking characters they have a really simple but still distinct vibe that you can pick up on pretty quickly
@Spainimation This is awesome, I love seeing the same character in different styles - I've done a bit of that myself, drawing my characters like various cartoons. Here's some of my art if you want to try it out, though I suspect my style might not be distinctive enough....
#GothicAdvent Gustave Doré's Hauntingly Beautiful 1883 Illustrations for Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven"
"Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak December,
And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor."

British artist Henry Tonks depicts his distinctively-attired friend (and fellow war artist) John Singer Sargent. Together, they witnessed the shocking field of wounded, gas-blinded men that would inspire Sargent’s epic ‘Gassed’ (detail at R) https://t.co/MSegXpv7iZ
@FrancescoDonald I don't know why everyone who gets to helm a Fantastic Four movie is so adamant about removing The Thing's massive bowl shaped brow ridge. It's one of the most iconic and distinct parts of the character!
Austrian artist Rudolf Sieber-Lonati painted many of the Larry Brent covers. His distinctive lurid style can be seen on the covers of many gruselromans from the 1960s and 1970s.
More designs! I want everyone to have a distinct color pallete and silhouette, I'm trying ;;
#dreamsmpfanart
@swallo_art Thank you for the art share! I'm Greyson, I draw lots of gay ocs, Dragonball related ocs specifically, and sometimes fanart. I don't have one distinct art style lol
An oddball species which was fun to draw: Xyrichtys incandescens which is quite distinctive but unlike the other W Atlantic Xyrichtys is rarely seen or photographed. Not even sure what the female looks like but this is the terminal male #SundayFishSketch
*david attenborough voice* this bird-of-paradise has a fascinating mating ritual, offering the female a uniquely curved crisp before hopping around and making a distinct “popping” noise. once it pops, the fun doesn’t stop.
@Raflcoopter is this style visually distinct enough? If you wanna try it, go for it!
It's Naoko Yamada's birthday in Japan right now so I'm wishing one of the best directors a happy birthday! Her distinctive directing style breathes so much humanity and life into the characters while her attention to symbolism and cinematography is nothing short of stunning.
twewy spoilers //
Another Day, aka Pink/Rainbow. I've always wanted to draw AD Josh distinct from the original! 3/5
