I'm not really a emotional person, but I can't say I'm not upset about Kazuki Takahashi. The show, manga and ofc the game he made help shaped my life from the people I meet, places I have gone to play a card game and so many other things I can't think of at this time. 1/2

All I can really say is, I'm glad I got to be a part of the community Kazuki Takahashi pioneered through his work. He truly was an inspiration, as I have grown through the years alongside the game, its written works, and animations. Rest easy, my friend.

Some of my favorite Takahashi art. I especially loved when he drew characters other then his. The Hellboy art in particular made a huge impact on me because I was getting into both properties around the same time.

Unfortunately I don't have original art of Yu-Gi-Oh but...

I remember finding free manga to take and I got the first 3 Yu-Gi-Oh volumes. They were so amazing so weird so horrific so interesting. It made me realize how awesome Yu-Gi-Oh is++

R.I.P Kazuki Takahashi

Thank you for all the childhood memories you’ve given me playing Yu-Gi-Oh. It’s one of my most fond memories with my brother, and I’ll cherish them always. We would watch Yu-Gi-Oh religiously.

My favorite Yu-Gi-Oh games growing up, and now Master Duel. 💙

Three of my favorite Yugioh characters. Wouldn’t have met them if it wasn’t for you Mr Takahashi. RIP.

Takahashi-san... 😞

I never really played the card game, but Yu-Gi-Oh is a franchise that has a very special place in my heart. I love the anime, its characters and its later spinoffs.
It's sad drawing him again after so many years because of this.

If not for Kazuki Takahashi, we never would have so many children's card game memes if not for him. RIP.

I am extremely sad to find out the news of Takahashi. He was a great person who touched the hearts of many and including mine. His legacy will live in and may whatever your soul ascend next to the gods you level in.

The Yu-Gi-Oh manga changed my life. It's difficult to go into how but reading it made me a happier more self-forgiving person. It taught me how to love myself.

RIP Kazuki Takahashi, I wish I could've met you
