Since we're talking about "games as art", and that talk is *toxic*, I felt that we could do something positive and highlight games that are actually art, rather than AAA-games which, even if they make you feel sad, have all the artistic depth of an Aesop fable

The slight change in Paper Mario’s art direction makes me a bit sad, I get that they wanted the enemy designs to be more accurate and faithful to the modern mainline games but doesn’t that just take away from what made PM’s original artstyle so unique?

That's sad, but I deal with that, too. My gijinkas generally go for details and just generally going for the feel of what they're based off of, and not simply being hot. The max amount of likes I get for them on Tumblr is 5. Here's some of my Disney ones as example.
