More speculative evolution creatures! These desert critters are from the amazing @Brynn_Metheney, based on the original drawings from students at VCU's Discovery Program. Thanks again Brynn!
A hefty #Deinocheirus for #FossilFriday!
Given their ponderous build and life in humid wetlands, I have her speculative algae growing on her filaments (inspired by sloths). Imagine it’s a way to get some camouflage without the nutrient cost of bright greens.

[Speculation] If the artist who comes up with the (finalized) designs is the same who draws the model sheets (which has happened before, see @JamesTurner_42's work for example) then Mizutani also designed the rest of Trial Captains. These are clearly done by the same artist. 🤔
This pack contains 100 textures plus generated displacement, normal, ambient occlusion, specularity and glossiness maps, in a total of 600 images plus a sample render of each texture. https://t.co/3m33iSl83g
IT IS SPECULATED THAT THE ANCIENT EGYPTIANS BUILT THE PYRAMIDS ALL BY THEMSELVES, THIS HOWEVER IS "BULLSHIT", HOW COULD A TEAM OF DESERT-DWELLERS DRAG METRIC TONS OF STONE UP RAMPS? THE REAL ANSWER OF COURSE IS THAT THEY HAD "ANCIENT TECHNOLOGY" THAT WE DO NOT HAVE EVEN TODAY...
Thank you #Homestuck. I looked through all the art I made back then. I've grown so much since then. I miss waiting with everyone for the next update, all the crazy content & speculations. Here's art from when I started, finished, and other pieces I liked. #Homestuck10years
I'm so excited for news on Animal Crossing for the Switch!!!! I hope the speculations for the Nintendo Direct on the 15th are right >_>

Friend's discord speculating on the new Crests in GBF being buffs to old characters, and I suggested to buff Forte by just making her EXE Forte. And so, I brought this into the world
@Attichanthesky1 @GreyGriffon Here’s the “implausible eye position”. My guess is that he doesn’t know what an Azhdarchid skull looks like, because I drew the eye in exactly the right place. As well, the “excessively speculative” Caryosyntrips and the Volgadraco with the “implausibly large ear”.

Looks good but mostly worried about trying to figure out the specular, roughness, whatever maps that needs to be done so that the stylized shader I'm using would work well. So far mostly flat shading it for now and figuring the rest out later. #3dmodeling #anime
Truly a masterwork of speculative fiction writing the likes of which is rarely achieved.@Mark__Lawrence is a frigging genius. || Malrubius, our favourite cantankerous reviewer checks out HOLY SISTER || https://t.co/GU23RDpoi0 || @AceRocBooks

Howdy #TransDayOfVisibility I'm Sal, a camera shy transmasc illustrator who'd rather show you his art than his mug. I'm an analog inker who's wheelhouse is speculative fiction and TTRPG stuff, and sometimes kind of dumpy little animal people wearing pants.
Naively applying it to my hand painted bust. (The bust doesn't have a normal map, so the specular isn't appearing in quite the right places, but whatever XD)
