More from my student days! I studied classical-academic drawing+painting at an atelier school (Angel Academy, Florence).
Only 25% relevant for my current work, but it was a great time. If I could afford it I'd do it again.
All oil on canvas, except for the hand (charcoal).

Hi everyone! I’m laylie, I like drawing floral portraits and fanart. When I’m working I listen to a lot of rap, r&b, and classical music. Sometimes indie rock, jrock, lofi beats, or whatever genre Lana del rey is , really depends on the mood I’ve been in.

Just realized I never showed my art student work here. I studied classical-academic drawing+painting at an atelier school (Angel Academy, Florence).
Only 25% relevant for my current work, but it was a great time. If I could afford it I'd do it again.
All these are oil on canvas.

Automation in the Ancient Classical Word. robots.

Basically, automation means any machinery or self-operating machinery. They are designed to act in a predetermined way and according to instructions, the best example of this is perhaps a robot....

Jacques-Louis David (1748-1825) painted this, The Funeral of Patroclus, in 1778. It is his first neoclassical work & he would go on to be the master of the neoclassical movement. It was painted in Rome. Now recognised as seminal in his oeuvre, it was once a table top!
