I'm working on raffle prize for a while now.
My process always starts with the background and gretscale, this way I can create very appealing light scenarios.
I add light by making a color adjustment layer, saturated to 0 with much light, to create strong and soft edges.

My main problem is that if you put too much expression on it, the face SWIFTLY becomes an eldritch terror, so it was hard to convey emotion with as little face movement as possible.
