Making and losing new friends. An endless cycle. Something what would make anyone cold in their hearts. But thanks to her friends, Fu Hua will be able to move on and never lose her way. Towards a brighter tomorrow. Making new friends and memories down the line.
In the end Fu Hua managed to be relearn what it means to be around others & let them be part of her life. Previously, despite her loving being around others, she closed herself off to prevent the pain of what might come if she ever loses them. This is the curse of her immortality
Once more Fu Hua has lost a friend. Yet she will never forget the memories they have made over the centuries especially with the last promise she made has to fulfill to little book of Fuxi. It'll always help her remember her & and the precious memories.
Ngl, this killed me emotionally a bit.
Fu Hua knew she will shut down soon and decided to take her to the festival as her last memory made together. Making a promise to stay and train the people to help themselves fight the Honkai in the process.
Book of Fuxi really is the long lasting friend and family Fu Hua needs. Even if she has all those functions to help her fight the honkai, her primary task is to be the companion she needs in her eternal life.
This is soooo fucking precious.
Book of Fuxi is the last thing that's left from her friends. A companion who will last longer than the average human.
This is actually sweet, since they know from the start that Fu Hua will outlive them and is destined to be alone once more & has to start from scratch.
And this part really left off with the Book of Fuxi, who I assume Fu Hua spent the most time with in her life, has vanished.
I think this will end up quite emotional for her.
The manga really knows how to make the characters look good. I only know the 3D model of her.
But seeing actual manga versions of her really feels fresh.
I'm in love with this artstyle and the way how they have designed Fu Hua here.
Fu Huas story displays the downsides of Immortality spot on.
Seeing all her friends she has made over thousands of years whither away over and over again really does make one emotionally cold.
God I can only imagine how painful it must have been for her.
