throwback to college when we had to re-do the same story over and over again, until we had to do it in a different setting, then i did this story in old rome and lettered the whole thing in latin just for kicks and my professor read my comic in latin for the whole class (1/2)

obviously it had to have a calligraphic feel. i also wanted it to have a slightly latin / medieval flavor without trying too hard. the other variable was that it had work both as display type (big banner names) + readable blocks of text.
