Major progress update:
- Game is delayed for another month T_T, I hope.
- Arcade mode, both single and local two players is ALMOST finished.
- Work on story mode starts next week.
- After that, only trophies, gallery, shop and ranking are left.

I still occasionally see fanart for Shinmai Fukei Kiruko-san, a mediocre ecchi comedy manga that ran for 3 volumes in the early 2010s.

I'm not sure why, but that sort of thing gives me hope. Every series strikes a chord with SOMEONE, no matter how obscure. Someone will remember.
