Stylization is a product of simplification.
Here’s some facial features from observation, then stylized based on what aspects of each i wanted to emphasize.
For me, i like to focuse lines where there are edges (like shadows and boney ridges)

The black line marks the ideal size for a while the red line is too restrictive and could lead to strangulation of the herniating brain at the edges of the craniectomy, causing further infarction.

this is my favourite of the two ‘you can’t patent the sun’ paintings, it’s freer approach feels more natural that the hard edges of the 001a painting (a little bit of Max Ernst crossed with Barrie Cooke)

Top view, north half. The world loops cuz invisible walls, unclimbable mountains, & endless trenches blow. and already solved this in 1990. It also makes speed run routing more crazy since there is no 'center' or 'edges.'
