Kira's desigs is second best to me. Wouldn't call it perfect becouse of Nishii's style. It's simplified but it didn't lead to any interesting dynamic or smooth animation. Also his design had to be corrected later, face on one of the heads in his render is straight up melting off

There will be two sizes: 20cm (doll size) and 10cm (keychain size). The 20cm comes with glasses and bag, but the 10cm does not. The 10cm size will have his features and clothes a bit more simplified since he has a smaller base and I can’t put as much, but he’ll be just as cute!

It was an attempt to simplify Rebecca Sugar's (RISD) personal style, simplified over time, for the sake of animation.

Afterwards this was conflated with Pen Ward's Adventure Time.
