We distinctly remember people likening the Dead Effect games to DOOM 3 but we never agreed with that.

They don't go for the tense horror vibe and definitely fall more in the more traditional modern shooter sphere, monsters suck too.

Been seeing a surprsing amount of Mario Hoops 3-on-3 on my timeline recently.

Not much to add, besides also gushing over the artstyle. The game in general has a very distinct personality, from the art, to the music, to the Final Fantasy crossover aspect.
