We have just acquired this superb watercolor of Bridgnorth by Veronica Burleigh (1909–1998) the daughter of the artist C H H Burleigh, she studied at Slade 1927–30, under Henry Tonks. A self portrait by Burleigh recently sold at auction in London for £15K on the hammer.

A JMW Turner painting of Chepstow Castle is to be sold in Cambridge. The British artist was 19, when he created the watercolour painting, which has been kept in a private family collection in London since 1956. The artwork is signed “Turner” & dated 1794, attrbution confirmed.
