That three options are "white color", "blue color" and "no pixel brush". We use the blue to paint some zones in the shadow parts, as I show you! I block the empty pixels blocked to paint!

We can erase the adjustement in the mask of the layer, leaving only the zones we wanna. I erase the layer with the "no pixel" option, in the brush color.

Now, we right click on the hair layer again, but this time we access brightness and saturation settings. The first option. This layer will be clipped automatically.

This is the gradients option, by right clicking on the layer. We give it and make sure that the new gradient layer is clipped to the hair layer.
