Did you know that, according to various official sources, 3 of these characters are foxes, and 1 is half fox in Sonic SatAM?
Tails is a fox, obviously, yet surprisingly, both Antoine and King Acorn are as well. In the French dub of SatAM, Antoine was renamed "Antoine Gontran-
Also, here's some alt. color versions I whipped up, based on a few of the the other Sally designs.

Ok, so most people are familiar with the SatAM Sonic model sheet seen on the left. However, that model sheet was created and used only for the pilot, which portrayed Sonic a bit differently.
The image on the right is the final model sheet with the final colors for the character.

Art Mawhinney appreciation post!
He was a storyboard artist for SatAM and AoStH, a prominent artist throughout the Pre-Ian Flynn days of the Archie comics (his work on Archie ranges anywhere from 1994-2005) a Golden Books artist, and draws many different children's books!

As Ben Hurst, a story editor for the second season of SatAM who was always up for talking with fans and tried to get a third season up and running for years, had passed away 2 years prior, writer Ian Flynn gave this new Muttski the first name "Ben", in honor of Ben Hurst.

@SatamHistorian Sigh... for all of Archie's flaws, those comics got way, WAY more room to breathe than the poor SatAM cartoon. Antoine started as a jokey character in the comics too, but he eventually got to become legitimately cool.
There's a ton more gals who've contributed to the history of SatAM, but I can't mention all in detail, so here's a list of others:
Kayte Kuch and Sheryl Scarborough - Writers of "Sonic Past Cool"
Laura Adams - Colorist of Sea3on Chapter 7
