for anyone who's already seen or read monogatari: I highly recommend getting into nisioisin's other series: zaregoto (mystery/drama), katanagatari (adventure), medaka box (shounen), boukyaku tantei (mystery), and shoujo fujuubun (seinen)! all of them have great characters
