Pretty sure Belos is Phillip Wittebane and has been trapped in The Boiling Isles since the 1600s. Hunter is his nephew; the brother of Phillip in the statues has the same nose as Hunter. I think Belos is turning into a Titan and that’s what became of his brother.

Before this episode we only knew of one human that had been in the boiling iles before, that being Philip Wittebane, but both the story and the statues picture two humans. One of them is obviously Philip while the other is probably Belos. Let me explain.

What if Belos is actually Wittebane and him losing his brother resulted with him creating a clone (or possibly a Grimwalker) that looks like his brother, which is Hunter? It also explains why one of them has that little rascal Hunter has.

so this basically implies that belos’ bloodline isn’t completely human, but rather a possible human-witch hybrid - they could’ve been related to philip wittebane and as such born without a bile sac, rendering them unable to use magic naturally
