I have always really like the aesthetic of Spider Lilies but they always seemed super daunting to draw.

Visdev seems pretty scary to me because it encompasses so many abilities in art like good background skills, composition, perspective and world building but as daunting as it is I feel really drawn to it.

But maybe more dynamic poses feel a bit daunting. Even when a character is simply standing, adding some contrapposto-- that is, shifting the weight onto one leg to create an asymmetrical pose-- makes the stance feel more natural and less stiff

Man, I'm still thinking about this fantasy series that's been sitting untouched for years now. It's just so damn daunting. I guess first thing would be to get the first book back in print. Then, I was about a hundred pages into draft 2 of book 2, so power on from there.
(3) dividing layers into groups (bg, head, body, hair, etc.) lessens clutter and makes the drawing less daunting
(4) not sketching properly wouldnt make you faster, it'll just make you suffer

@pokibloodfallen Ohh!! Thank you so much for pointing that out! Actually I’ve been working on less detailed designs too because I want to create designs that are more affordable (80-150$ as opposed to $300+). Do these feel simple enough or could anything be adjusted to make them less daunting?
