I love how I didn't color the whites of the eyes but the burned edges effect makes it look like I did xD

I changed colours bcs I thought that'd be fun. it's mostly value work but i learnt some things about saturation too
it's bizarre to work in such a different style BUT- i feel like i learnt a lot abt edges & workflows

Diamondhead was a character I was dreading. So many edges and stuff. Also trying to figure out her head wasn't great. But here we are. Not sure which uniform I'll go with. On on hand there's the less sexist/modest version but on the other hand girl-abs!

Not sure if it's been shared before but Zabuton cushion has quite a wide invisible hitbox(?) at the edges so it's fun for making...invisible paths. And to 'float' mannequins.
Used this for the fc haunted basement during halloween

a quick example I found is these two images from pixiv.
Yae Miko's design doesn't have that many complex shapes to it, mostly just 4 long shapes, while the micro detail has a beautiful flower embroidery. and little details on the edges to break up the shapes.

And studying human/animal baby skulls to get an idea of facial feature placement and structure

It's a small subtle detail but I like the pointed edges on fara's jaw in his troll form. It takes a lot of effort to hide that monstrous mouth and he's done the best he could!
