This had me thinking abt character Disgust. It is such a core human emotion. Often, our disgust w/ someone b/cuz of a horrendous thing they did blocks t ability to see beyond it. So we discount earlier suffering. The trouble is, we block paths to preventng horror.

Choi Han looks so cute in this panel. I remember the novel saying this:
