I'm playing ZX emulated on my phone with a controller. Even though this isn't original hardware, the sprites just look way better on a smaller resolution like this. The Legacy Collection is great and all, but the sprites look a lot smoother on small resolutions.

very productive day! did some studies on how to paint the skin. Finally figured out why my skin paintings looked wrong. It is better to make a cut and then blend it to make it more smoother. For comparison, image 1 > image 2. (pay no attention to the ugly ass head)

after trying both games for a bit i must say is amazing the job done by this is a really well made HD edition of the game with smoother gameplay a nice difficulty option this is a really nice plaform puzzle experience cheers on that

I really didn't want to hand edit normals, so I came up with this method of using an ID Mask to manipulate the normals in the shader. All of my shadows snap into place whereas the Guilty Gear model has smoother transitions but it's a pretty nice effect
