Got bored and made what i'd imagine would be like if it had different health values. IF EVERYTHING STAY THE SAME (god I hope not), Zbro would be too much.

Some process pics. I love applying values. It’s like breathing life to your sketch.

was crazy good w/ high prod. values. The fact The Child or affectionately was never spoiled before the series dropped is a testament to how much the industry has changed. Social media has changed the way we consume these stories.

I just started working on this last night.

Trying to get a nice pose and composition. I'm planning on adding a dark sky and draw eaves crashing against the rock.

Also trying to establish some values.

Any pointers or suggestions?

I do greyscale to colour drawings so this is some progress but I’ll upload the timelapse later. First is putting down the values. Second shows the level of colour I start at

Made this little still life of an Africa wild dog skull with some paint cans and dried grass. It was fun making a piece that is made up of just two different values. I really enjoy that sorta style, it’s a different way of working and thinking than what I normally do in my art.

Trying my old coloring method again... it seems like my old problem was handling values.... I'm debating whether I should go back to this and mix it with my current method.

a simple way to draw plants is to break them down into shapes and build up detail with values. Use different layers if you fear messing up. If you are drawing a LOT of plants, break it into sections so as to not overwhelm yourself.

This was made after doing cube studies practicing edges and values. It was just for fun, but I sank quite some time into it and as I liked how it turned out decided to share it.

I'm still not sure how to approach my drawings. I'm used to do everything in grayscale and then add color.
This time, I just did a quick sketch in grayscale and tried to color it from the start. Coloring is scary. I'm too afraid to mess my values.

Now there's all this talk about Goth Ihop, or Spyro Subway. But me, I have those traditional values. I support ma and pa restaurant. Mostly the ma ones. Like Milf Denny's.
