Done w/ Krita. Realized after working on the other pic that I didn't need to use my weird CSP workflow because Krita let's me paint on transparency masks like they were regular ass layers.

Re-upload because the resize option I chose made it really blurry.

it's just a different workflow. I completely love 3D but the immediacy of conveying an idea is pretty much lost, a compromise done in exchange for different types of control (pictured: adding moss to the bottom of a tree).
