okay so this is a disputed opinion, but I know I'm right.
The Rito in Legend of Zelda did not evolve from the Zora, but are rather the parallel version of the Oocca.

Since both species have distinctly mammalian and avian traits, my hypothesis is that the common ancestor was- 1/3
