I love the colours in that! For me it's this piece, which is a few years old now but was a big step for me in terms of composition and lighting. I learned a lot from this, some of which I don't even think I've been able to replicate since 😂

Ah I see. I guess Hideki Tsuji hasn't quite replicated Hara's 2000's look. I do recall some of Hara's panels looking a bit odd in some pages. Mainly the arms connecting to the torso or the Latissimus Dorsi section. But his current style Lin looks unhealthy.

I think I understand the appeal of MLP fanart. The flat colors make it very easy to replicate the style of the show, while artists who want additional challenge can put their own spin on it. Obviously I went with the former.
