Its really underrated and had unused potential.
It only had 12 episodes
Maaan Season 2 of 86 was so good. A step up from the already impressive S1 with two fantastic protagonistic arcs and consistently riveting direction and layered visual storytelling all over the place. If the adaptation continues like this then it could easily become a favourite.

Man, it does not feel right knowing Rosario + Vampire's anime is 14 years old now. I remember watching the anime back on YouTube way back in the day. Didn't read the manga until after Capu2's anime came out. R+V's adaptation got done dirty but it is a guilty pleasure of mine.
