The gameplay is hell. Its buggy and annoying. The rng system is horrible. it was not fun to play as a game.

BUT AS A STORY, its absolutely incredible; its heartfelt, and funny, and feels very bittersweet. Great characters, plot, and designs. Very interesting.

In the character art, Copen almost always holds his gun or Razor Wheel in his right hand. The one exception I know of is specifically the *website* art for Bullit Shift. (Of course, in gameplay, Copen switches his weapon hand every time he turns around.)

I'll start it with a low hanging fruit, Final Fantasy VII should definitely find a spot on the list. Arguably one of the most successful franchises when moving from 2D to 3D, FF7 told a timeless story with tight gameplay and a wonderful cast and remains relevant today

Destiny DC is just super fun. Wonderful sprites, aerial combat, speedy 2D gameplay.

Picked up Asura’s Wrath again. With its simple gameplay, episodic nature, and heavy focus on dynamic action cinematics, it really does feel like somebody wanted to make an anime but was forced to turn it into a game. (It even has an onsen episode)

I’m digging it though.
