In my earlier pages, I was desperate for space. I was used to having enormous paintings with tens of thousands of pixels, and I felt confined by my own panels. You can see it in how tight my gutters are.
As I gained confidence in my compositions, I let my pages breathe more.

On this page, I used the T rule to avoid the panel lines from panel 2 and panel 5 lining up, so that your eye can travel properly along horizontally instead of being led downward. I also grouped the panels with no gutters to increase the odds of the reader traveling correctly.
