This was supposed to be a reveal-colors-at-the-end Ralsei... I pressed a button that turned the colors to greyscale, but I didn't know that I wasn't able to actually revert back to color

Honestly, the first day in game. GW2 was my first mmo ever. I've created sylvari (i love nature so it was an obvious choice) and landed in the Caledon Forest. Exploring every corner of the map and finding hidden spots was filling me with happiness and excitement. ♡

Some more work by Darlene. The 1980 map of the Flanaess from the World of Greyhawk Folio may just be her Magnum Opus. Most maps were still black and white, & this was just mind boggling to us then!

You have to realize, this was hand done 42 years ago, yet still looks great!

For the color editing we need to give shadows a greenish tone and mid and light tones a warm bend. For this we can meld all the layers in one new layer and apply a gradient map. After that, lowering the opacity and using the mode "overlay" will get this characteristic effect.
