It was a wonderful feeling to finally have a fursona that represented me. I commissioned for an iterative character design process and a beautiful ref sheet. She was incredibly professional and a pleasure to work with. I now subscribe to her Patreon.

I've been really interested in the ideologies represented by the buildings in Pathologic. I wanted to try designing my own building that would fit the town from both from an architectural standpoint and a philosophical one. Here's my attempt! I call it The Keel

This is a map of Sfragia that I drew. All the place- and city-names are derived from greek vocabulary. There are seven cities, which each hold one of the seals (represented by a tiny tower). You can also see the Black-and-White zone, spreading over half of the map.

Little late but happy folks. I've always had LGBT chars but not said much about their identities. Its nice to see some of the established characters actually represented for once.

We really need more Pokémon inspired by Middle Eastern Mythology. And, I know that’s a really broad statement, since it includes Arab, Persian, and Egyptian mythology, but I mean, they’re ALL underrepresented. Some favorites are: Roc, Manticore, Simurgh, and Sphinx.

People say Smash Bros Ultimate is poorly represented in terms of female characters, but the overall roster probably has more females than a lot of other game rosters out there.

“All is vanity”-Allan Gilbert
Symbolically, vanity has long been represented in art as a woman preoccupied with her beauty and vanitas as a human skull representing the transience of life. This is also referred to as a memento mori, a work that reminds people of their mortality.

By May 1890 Vincent moved to N France to Auvers-Sur-Oise, under the care of Dr Gachet. Two of his last landscapes are the ominous Wheatfield under Thunder Clouds & Wheatfield with Crows. They echo his mental state & struggle (he said they represented his sadness & loneliness)

On this day in 1903, Marie Skłodowska Curie defended her doctoral thesis on radioactive substances at The Sorbonne.
The committee expressed the view that Curie's findings represented the greatest scientific contribution ever made in a doctoral thesis.

Just over a year ago, released the grand strategy game "Imperator Rome". Because I have nothing better to do on a Thursday, I decided to make a THREAD dedicated to how South Arabia is represented in this game (1/n)

Nyx is the primordial Goddess of the night. She is represented by the darkness of the night and the night sky. Even Zeus was afraid of her power. Although she had no temple of her own, a single statue of her was found in a temple dedicated to Artemis. 👇

Hi I'm Margaret, I do art of a variety of underrepresented animals--mostly herps and avians--and I'm passionate about wildlife conservation.

I also run a small business full time with the help of a couple of really awesome employees! ♥️
