Since it's Eureka 7's 15th anniversary, I'd like to dedicate a thread to it.
If you asked me what would be the best mech show from the 2000s, one that encapsulates that makes the genre great with a real understanding of them, it would easily be Eureka 7.
15 years from Today, Came one of the GOAT Mecha shows of the 2000s.
It was produced by Studio Bones with Dai Sato as writer, design work by Shoji Kawamori(Armored Core, Macross), Music by Naoki Sato, character designs by Kenichi Yoshida.
Happy anniversary Eureka 7!
Let's be for real here! This show was really good and the songs are really. Funny villain, badass platypus, two adventurest and creative brothers and no stop trilled of excited. One of my favorite shows in the 2000s. Anyone still remember Phineas and Ferb?

In the meantime, have something I did way back in 2012.

had a dream where i was in a bowling alley and found a japanese promo video station from the early 2000s and it featured a TCG commercial with a lost tcg-exclusive pokemon called Kabichu and it looked like this
Whereas 90s or 2000s Nintendo would likely opt to use Mario whenever they felt like they needed a character to add personality to some otherwise mundane software or feature, post-Wii Nintendo have been hitting it out of the park with a succession of total winners
