Last visit to the Louvre’s Pastels exh tonight. Found the one place Giroust’s pastel becomes chalk instead of feathers. She’s incredible.

even though i haven't done chalk in a long time, i still think about it
one summer the rain washed away most of the color in a couple of drawings but the outlines were visible
i haven't been to these parks in years but i wonder if these traces of them remain
its a bit haunting
