Now color as a composition tool. Negative space is a very fun thing to experiment with. It's a part of the drawing with no details usually used to let the viewer to rest his eyes form the details. You can use color to guide the eye, to highlight smth ect

i love this so much because it does not go exactly in depth on how to actually draw expressions (position of eyes, eyebrows, mouth shape, etc) it just says "just DRAW" in the most polite way ever

Okay I declare that it's time for illustrated romance covers to return to the real stuff. Stuff with movement and composition and actual tone.
