@bagel_boy_jr The key to this shading is to have no expectations but just randomly drop a brush stroke wherever you feel you need another one. I will drop some WIPs of this piece.

This is the hardest step for me. The starting / beginning phase of paintings between sketch and rendered. I always feel like I'm not getting anywhere, nor do I feel like it looks 'good' and I get demoralized quickly. But, wips nonetheless
