Took the bug side of Ant-Man, but went with an beetle-inspired look because of Loki’s horns (referenced smooth ox beetles mostly). “Vifill” is Old Norse for “beetle”

Megaman is known to take inspiration from Astroboy, this is clearer in the original hairstyle he had in Megaman 1, which is only used in this game and referenced in a few pieces of promotional art that was done later. From Megaman 2 onwards he has the hairstyle we all know.

[EFX] decided to paint the efx on the last phase, bcs I like it the most! I referenced Bo Chen's Sena Base Splash's efx because it is the exact effect treatment that I had in mind! Dark inky efx which assimilates with the body on its end and diminished into air on the other end
