I feel like Flint is one of those Spider-Man villains where Peter is lucky he isn't smarter and/or more bloodthirsty. If you take into account everything Sandman can do he has the capability to be more dangerous than Cletus.

I truly don't understand the people in Neil's comments saying they have read all of Sandman but refuse to accept that Desire is a gender fluid character. Did they not pay attention to the many mentions of their gender fluidity? Or even notice the androgynous appearance of them?
