Sometimes it feels like I'm not improving my art at all but comparing to a 2020 piece made me feel better ;w;
Do any of ya'll have thoughts like this too?
I still have a soft spot for my older work but it's just interesting to compare rendering, linework, etc!
@griancraft Not too valid of a comparison (left image from 2018, I started drawing in 2013), but what used to take me 2 hours now takes 20 minutes— we all start somewhere. My understanding of form and movement is so much better, my lines more confident, and my composition less rigid/awkward.
@napalmhuffer @SlavAesthetics If I remember right, Lego has a strict no weapons/military vehicles. Their main exceptions are for films.
I think you'd have better luck looking at the "knock off" Lego companies for their offerings as I believe some of them do actually military aircraft
